Nail Wheel Spam #1
Hi guys! This are my nail wheels, where I store swatches of my collection. I found these shots in my camera, and they’re form a while ago, so they’re not up-to-date anymore :p
I got my nail wheels on eBay something like $1.99 for a pack of 5, free shipping from China.
I keep my nail wheels together with a medium sized book ring, which you can get at any scrapbooking store. I drilled the holes on the wheels with a Dremel, it’s quite easy to do :D
Wheel #1 (warm colors)
- Colorama Amarelo Sol
- OPI Fit a Bit
- OPI Guy Meet Gal-veston
- Zoya Sooki
- Colorama Puro Glamour
- Zoya Happi
Wheel #2 (purples)
- Impala Azul Aviador
- Jordana Silky Purple
- Jordana Lovebug
- Essie Splash of Grenadine
- OPI Movin’ Out
- Zoya Adina
- China Glaze Marry a Millionaire
Tomorrow I’ll share the rest of my wheels, thanks for looking :)

NOTD: China Glaze Blue Year’s Eve + Essence Blue Addicted
ChG Blue Year’s Eve is a dark glass fleck blue. To me its looks like the opposite version of Zoya Charla; at some extremes angles you see a hint of turquoise/gold shimmer from Charla (not evident on the nail). It’s also one of my favorite blues because it doesn’t stain on removal.
This was a perfect base for Essence Blue Addicted, a dark blue jelly packed with micro glitter, silver and green medium hexes. Apprently it’s a perfect dupe for Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe.

NOTD: Love & Beauty (F21) Blue/Multi
A blue with multichromatic shimmer. What’s not to love? :) It flashes gold, pink and green, so pretty. It’s quite sheer though, so you’ll need undies for this one (I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui).

Today I wanted to wear something bright and happy, to celebrate that it’s the second day of spring and it’s a beautiful sunny day <3 (yesterday was another story, lol).
Base is Jordana’s Lovebug, a bright creamy magenta that really works as a one-coater (though I did 2 in this mani). The glittery top coat is Etienne’s Disco Parisien (woot, disco disco~), which is small round holo glitter paired with bigger hexagonal holo (it kinda looks like China Glaze’s Techno).
I couldn’t capture the holo goodness, but it is there. Here’s a blurred pic to prove it :)

My base coat of choice is Colorama’s Pro-Estructurante base. It dries clear and smooth, a perfect surface for color. I don’t wear my polish for a whole weak, but so far no wear issues. Plus, it’s cheap and widely available at drugstores here.
My favourite top coat is a little more on the expensive side (not Seche Vite expensive, at $20/bottle, that stuff is a luxury), but oh so effective. Orly’s In-A-Snap was a godsend, it dries really quickly and there’s no shrinkage. Thanks to this pretty sheet marks are a long gone nightmare. Totally recommendable.

September’s haul!
Even though the month is not over yet, I’m going into a no-buy until next month :) I try to not get more polishes that what I can use :p
